Stuckey's new instrument combines a tuneable FM syntesizer with a unique finger pitch control. Depress the string between two of the 16 copper rivets to play notes. Each space is one half step. The entire pitch range is scaled by the tuning knob, so the synth can play in low and high registers. The other knobs control volume, harmonicity, and combined modulation depth / waveform. The 1/4" jack on the front panel allows for connection to external amplifier / speaker. The synthesizer is housed in a high quality, hand made wood case. It is powered by an easily accessible 9 volt battery.
